Join the PVMA!
The most efficient way to learn about fungi is to join your local mushroom club! Its members, whether experienced teachers and students of mycology or beginners, will be able to convey to the novice important information and cautions that must be observed by anyone hoping to acquire knowledge about local fungi, especially if they are interested in foraging for edibles.

As a member of the PVMA you will receive our most current newsletter, and access to our popular spring session of Fungi Kingdom University workshops, our guided walks that occur throughout the summer and fall, and scholarship opportunities for attending multi-day forays.

We urge all members to join our Facebook page for the most up-to-date scheduling information as well as information on fungi-related classes, lectures, visits by guest mycologists, and other special events. We hope you will post photos of what you find throughout the year on our Facebook site as well. We will all do our best to help you identify mushrooms and other fungi you are not familiar with.

Annual membership is just $15 per person or $25 per family household of two or more individuals and covers the period between January 1 and December 31 of any given year. First time members who apply for membership on or after October 1 are automatically given membership for the remaining current year and the following year. This generous offer does not apply to previously enrolled members whose membership has lapsed.

Non-members interested in taking one of our guided walks are invited to do so at just $10 per person. This fee can be applied to a membership if you choose.

Joining the PVMA online is an easy two-step process:
First, pay for your annual membership using the PayPal link below, after selecting a membership category from the drop-down menu (you can use this link to pay by credit card even if you don't have a PayPal account).
Membership Categories:
1. Individual $15.00
2. Family of two or more living in the same household: $25.00

Then complete the registration form below, read and check off the release of liability and press the SUBMIT button at the bottom of the form.

NOTE: If you prefer to pay by check, please print out out and submit the PVMA Membership Registration and Renewal Form and mail with your payment to current PVMA Treasurer, Michael Ostrowski, at 27 East Street, South Hadley MA 01075.
REMEMBER: You must do TWO things: pay for the membership AND fill out and submit the form below.
To register for Fungi Kingdom University, you must first be a current PVMA member. Then register separately for the workshop series on the Fungi Kingdom University page.
After you have made your payment, complete the form below to sign up for annual membership (January-December).
